Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of warehousing experience; warehousing preferred.
• Basic PC skills with MS Office products preferred.
• Operate computer terminal and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates wire measuring and cutting machinery.
• Reads customer orders accurately.
• Responsible for truck staging and loading.
• Assists with inventory management including cycle counts.
• Ensures the safe handling of materials.
• Responsible for general warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
• Performs all requirements of assigned department(s) (shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, delivery).
• Receives material from vendors into the business system and maintains related records.
• Assists with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Lifts and carries products up to 50 pounds; sometimes 75+ pounds.
• Operates forklift with proper training and certification.
• Cleans and maintains work area; follows safety policies.
