Job summary

U.S. Bank is hiring for a role supporting the Wire Transfer Core Modernization Team.

The candidate will design, develop, and implement a new wire transfer platform and payment capabilities, coordinating with agile delivery, operations, wire production, and support partners to gather requirements and drive delivery. The role emphasizes analyzing current processes, identifying future-state needs, tracking actions, and supporting testing and stakeholder communications to continuously improve

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to five years of data analysis experience
  • Experience in SQL/WebFOCUS or other BI tool for querying data
  • Experience in financial services, with thorough knowledge of HR systems or financial services products, customers, transactions and interaction data
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results for insights
  • Ability to data mine, analyze data, and present insights in a meaningful way
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership with Senior Business unit management, business partners and project sponsors, as well as communicate effectively with business, and development teams, end users, and product owners
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Wire Transfer Core Modernization Team in design, development, and implementation of a new wire transfer platform and payment capabilities

Job Description

Supports the Wire Transfer Core Modernization Team in the design, development, and implementation of a new wire transfer platform and payment capabilities. Partners with cross-functional teams, including agile delivery teams, operations platform management, wire production teams, and support partners, to gather requirements, participate in discovery and design activities, document business needs and decisions, and support delivery efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing current processes, identifying future-state requirements, tracking action items and feature changes, coordinating stakeholder communications, supporting testing activities, and contributing to initiatives focused on improving operational processes, customer experience, employee experience, and overall wire transfer capabilities. This role serves as a key liaison between operational teams and project stakeholders while supporting ongoing modernization efforts within the wire transfer environment.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to five years of data analysis experience

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
