BC Wire Rope, a division of American Equipment Holdings, seeks a detail-oriented Wire Rope Sling Fabricator in Anaheim, CA. This hands-on role fabricates wire rope slings and rigging assemblies, following work orders to measure, cut, assemble, and inspect products while maintaining traceability and a safe workspace.

Responsibilities include reviewing specs, cutting and assembling fittings, inspecting for quality, and maintaining documentation.

Formación

• Read work orders and follow fabrication instructions.
• Accurately measure wire rope and fittings using standard tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability.
• Identify material defects and elevate questions as needed.
• Operate or learn swaging and cutting equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team and communicate status clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Review orders, drawings, and specs to determine rope type and length.
• Measure and cut wire rope to specification using approved methods.
• Fabricate sling eyes and assemble fittings per procedures.
• Operate swaging and cutting equipment after training and authorization.
• Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and flaw detection.
• Tag and verify product information against records; assist with packing.
