Job summary

BC Wire Rope, a division of American Equipment Holdings, is seeking a Sewer, Synthetics Fabricator for our Las Vegas, NV facility. You will operate industrial sewing machines to produce web slings for overhead lifting, read work orders and blueprints, and prepare materials to exact specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma with sewing experience preferred. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in a full-time setting offering comprehensive benefits and PPE provision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Industrial sewing experience is a plus.
• Experience reading work orders and blueprints is preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to sew web slings for overhead lifting purposes.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or other specifications to determine sewing requirements.
• Prepare materials, including cutting fabric, straps, and other components, per measurements.
• Set up sewing machines with proper tension, stitch length, and thread alignment.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and assist in meeting production goals.
