Job summary

NEXT LEVEL STAFFING, LTD seeks a Wire Processing Team Member in Wisconsin to perform wire marking, cutting and terminaling to fulfill orders with precision. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read simple instructions in English, and experience with measuring devices and tooling maintenance.

You will maintain tools, stage work orders, and keep a clean work area on the production floor. High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years related experience preferred.

Job description

A Wire Processing Team Member is responsible for performing wire marking, cutting, and terminaling operations to satisfy internal and external customer orders.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for the care and maintenance of all perishable tooling fixtures and wire processing machinery. Cuts and marks wire per drawing and program specifications with the appropriate equipment. Maintains a high level of quality and productivity in all wire marking and cutting operations. Use existing maintenance logs to track all machine maintenance. Assist at times in set up of production personnel on the work floor. All “PR” status wire / tubing orders shall be cut / finished daily. Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules. Stage work orders. Strip wire using wire stripping machine. Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers

• Knowledge of operating crimping press, computer micrometer, scales, and other measuring devices
• Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions
• Must be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids
• Critical thinking, required to troubleshoot machine issues
