Job summary

Power Design Resources is seeking a reliable Wire Production Associate to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Palmetto, FL. You will efficiently prepare wire for shipment, operate processing equipment, measure and cut wires to spec, and ensure quality throughout the process.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and comply with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in wire processing, electrical distribution, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret cut sheets, work orders, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) and basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand/power tools.
• Forklift experience or certification a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered take-up and wire processing equipment.
• Pull wire from large reels stored in racking systems.
• Accurately measure and cut wire to customer-specified lengths.
• Install and secure wire pulling heads as required.
• Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain production logs, inventory usage, and traceability records.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Uphold all Power Design policies, quality procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
• Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
