Job summary

RVI, Inc. is seeking a Wire Harness Production Lead to manage daily operations on the production floor, guiding teams through wire harness assembly, testing, and quality checks. Responsibilities

• Review daily production priorities with Management and communicate work direction to employees.
• Assign and adjust work to support production schedules and customer priorities.
• Monitor workflow through preparation, terminating, assembly, splicing, looming, and testing operations.
• Identify constraints, material shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns and communicate them to the appropriate department.
• Ensure labor, quantities, and production activity are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, work instructions, safety rules, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure products are built, inspected, and tested to meet customer requirements.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and feedback to production staff.
• Identify training or performance needs and communicate them to Management.
• Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, Sales/PM, and Management on issues affecting production.
• Move personnel between areas to maintain workflow and adapt to priorities.
• Assist with production work as needed to support schedules or absences.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, cross-training, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized production environment.
