Job summary

Globaltec is seeking experienced assemblers to join a tight-knit team creating mission-critical wire harnesses for aerospace and defense programs. In-person work located in Norton Shores, MI with day shift and on-the-job training.

The role requires proven wire harness assembly experience, ability to read technical drawings, and a strong commitment to quality and IPC/WHMA standards. IPC-610 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Wire harness experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Defense, Military or Aerospace background is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/work instructions.
• Commitment to quality and IPC/WHMA standards is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-reliability wire harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense.
• Follow blueprints and work instructions with pride in quality.
• Perform crimping, soldering, routing, and testing.

What You'll Do

• Assemble high-reliability wire harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense applications
• Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions with pride in quality
• Perform crimping, soldering, routing, and testing

What You Bring

• Proven experience building wire harnesses in a manufacturing setting
• Defense, Military, or Aerospace industry background a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards (IPC/WHMA a plus)
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (ITAR-compliant facility)
