Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of assembly/production experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions and quality standards.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles wiring units by following assembly instructions, blueprints and lists.
• Prepares sub-components for assembly by sorting, stripping, terminating or otherwise readying them for processing.
• Operates various hand tools and simple machining operations.
• Performs tests to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Rotates among workstations as production needs require.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by reading blueprints and measurements.
• Assembles components by checking connections for fit and fastening parts.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Meets daily quantity and quality standards.
• Contributes to team effort by completing related tasks as needed.
