Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies, a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Electrical Harness Assembler to build and test cable assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. The role involves reading wire diagrams, assembling wires into cables and harnesses, soldering, and ensuring quality through measurements.

The candidate will work on the 2nd shift (3:30PM-12:30AM Monday-Thursday; 2:30-10:30PM every other Friday) and may train on 1st shift beforehand.

Qualifications

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Must pass a vision exam to inspect work at close distance.

Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
