Job summary

Cirtec Medical Corporation in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Machinist II to set up, maintain and operate wire EDM machines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality parts.

You will troubleshoot with engineering and quality, read blueprints, and prepare job travelers and inspection records while upholding safety and process standards.

This role requires at least 2 years of Wire EDM experience, English literacy, and the ability to stand for long periods; ESPRIT programming is a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Wire EDM machining experience.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Inspection experience using microscopes, calipers, dial indicators and vision systems.
• Comprehension of geometric tolerancing.
• Attention to details.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire EDM machines
• Accurately completes all department paperwork including job travelers, Inspection documentation, work packet information, and tooling request forms
• Builds quality parts using good working knowledge of blueprints
• Uses knowledge of the functions of the machines, including tool and work offsets, to adjust them to ensure quality
• Regularly inspects parts according to process to ensure quality parts are being produced
• Maintains a high level of efficient production
• Interacts effectively with engineering and quality individuals to solve problems
• Setup and run assigned jobs/projects
• Troubleshoot quality problems by effectively utilizing process controls and corrective actions
• Complies with company, quality and and safety standards, policies, and procedures
