Job summary

Cirtec Medical Corporation in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Machinist II to set up, maintain and operate wire EDM machines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality parts.

You will troubleshoot with engineering and quality, read blueprints, and prepare job travelers and inspection records while upholding safety and process standards.

This role requires at least 2 years of Wire EDM experience, English literacy, and the ability to stand for long periods; ESPRIT programming is a nice-to-have.

• Maintains a high level of efficient production
• Interacts effectively with engineering and quality individuals to solve problems
• Setup and run assigned jobs/projects
• Troubleshoot quality problems by effectively utilizing process controls and corrective actions
• Complies with company, quality and and safety standards, policies, and procedures

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating wire EDM machines. A Machinist II should be self-motivated and ensure the product is done on time and of the highest quality possible. Machinist II has excellent trouble shooting ability on both the machine and tooling, and can assist the Supervisor and/or Lead, as well as the programmers with the operation of the department.

Must Have:

• Minimum of 2 years Wire Electrical Discharge (Wire EDM) machining experience
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English

• Comprehension of geometric tolerancing
• Attention to details
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to stand for extended period of time

Salary Range:

$26 - $30/hour, based on skills and experience
