Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking a Wire Design & Install Engr 3 to develop and maintain cable/wire harness designs for aerospace installations. You will analyze results, perform design reviews, and document processes supporting the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

This role involves routing design across aircraft systems and contributes to supplier evaluations. The candidate should have 5+ years of related experience, proficiency in Catia V5, and strong 3D modeling skills, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; ABET preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace wire design or related field.
• Proficient in Catia V5 and 3D modeling; strong routing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain wire harness designs and routing schemes.
• Analyze results, perform design reviews, and document processes.
• Support installation design for equipment racks, power panels, and antennas.
• Contribute to supplier capability reviews to aid source selection.

Job Title: - Wire Design & Install Engr 3

Job Overview:

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops basic statements of work. Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design. Works under general direction.

Project:

• Supporting the Electrical Design Programs.
• They will be working on a wire Installation project
• They'll be doing the wire routing design throughout the airplane

Must Haves:

• Catia v5
• 3D modeling
• Some experience with wire routing design
• 5+ years of experience

Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
