Job summary

The position supports Platt Distribution Center operations, with emphasis on safe handling, productivity, and teamwork. Prior warehouse experience and a valid license aid eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of wire cutting experience preferred.
• Background in warehouse or distribution center helpful.
• Must hold valid driver's license (if delivering).
• Must be 21+ years old and pass pre-employment checks.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Perform daily machine checks and operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve and cut wire accurately for customer shipments; inspect for conformance to specs.
• Fill orders efficiently and ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Place reel of wire on payout spindle and adjust machine controls for thickness and length.
• Store and stage wire cuts in correct areas; maintain productivity standards.
