Job summary

Rexel USA in Albany, NY (relocation note: location in ad) is seeking a Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on precise wire/cable cutting and efficient order fulfillment, with safety-focused procedures and the possibility to fill in other warehouse duties as needed.

The position operates 11 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with paid holidays and PTO. Candidates should have 1+ year wire-cutting experience and be prepared to obtain forklift certification and OSHA training

Qualifications

• 1+ years of wire cutting experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 21 and pass pre-employment checks including MVR.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill wire/cable cut orders accurately using machine controls and handling equipment.
• Perform daily machine checks and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Retrieve, cut, and inspect wire to meet specifications and shipping requirements.
• Fill and prepare outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and condition.
• Maintain safe storage and staging of wire and cables; assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
