Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate, Receiving (CDC / RDC) to support inbound receipt, inventory control, and efficient restocking in our Cranbury, NJ distribution center.

The role involves using RF guns, ensuring packaging accuracy, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while meeting daily shipping and receiving targets.

• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm the shipment is consistent with the purchase order.
• Check product packaging to ensure that it is neat and intact.
• Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
• Perform cycle counts as necessary to ensure inventory count is accurate.
• Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to scan barcodes and labels allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Warehouse Associate, Receiving (CDC / RDC)

What You Will Do

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.

Salary Range: $17-$19/hr.

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 5am start
