Job summary

Capital Electric is hiring a Wire Cutter to cut, coil, spool and label electrical wire to customer orders in our Maryland warehouse. The role requires attention to detail and accuracy to ensure correct routing and timely delivery of material.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience; electrical distribution industry preferred.
• Good and dependable mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Cut wire to the length specified on ticket order.
• Label and deliver wire to correct routing staging area.
• Maintain organization and neatness in wire room.
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as required.

A Wire Cutter for Capital Electric is responsible for coiling, spooling, cutting and labeling wire to specified customer orders. Attention to details and accuracy is required.

Salary: $20 to $23 / hour
