Job summary

TMD Staffing in Houston, TX is seeking a reliable Wire Cutter to measure, cut, and spool wire to exact customer specifications. This is an in-person shop role requiring focus and accuracy.

You will operate an industrial cutting machine, load materials for inventory, and prepare orders for shipment or assembly while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have prior wire-cutting experience, be able to read a tape measure, perform heavy lifting, and stand for the entire shift.

Qualifications

• Previous wire cutter experience needed.
• Able to handle heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and stand for entire shift.
• Good math skills and able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and spooling wire/cable to meet exact customer specifications.


• Operate industrial cutting machine, manage material for inventory reasons


• Prepare customer orders for shipments and/or assembly


• Set up machinery, load, and cut according to orders


• Measure wire accurately and verify cuts

Pay

$20/hour + DOE

Schedule

11am-8pm, Mon-Friday but flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
