Job summary

Teledyne Cable Solutions is seeking a Wire & Cable Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire role. You will run various machines (extruders, braiders, stripers, bunchers, planetary, re-spoolers, twinners) and follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality and throughput.

The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety standards. The schedule is 2pm-10:45pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime availability and a background/drug check as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months related experience or training.
Ability to read job specifications and follow safety protocols.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operation of machines in accordance to written work instruction and safety protocols.
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Pushes button or switch to activate machine once set up is complete and verified.
Observes machine operation to detect machine malfunction and monitor cable quality throughout the process.
Trouble shooting process problems.
Willing to receive and provide cross-training in all machine operations.
