Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes to utilize proper training techniques and form to maximize results and minimize injuries
• Facilitate lifting max-out assessments, speed testing, and agility testing
• Create and implement off-season speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ) programs
• Plan and supervise strength training and conditioning sessions
• Lead warm-up and cool-down activities for training sessions and athletic competitions, as appropriate
• Modify exercises and provide variations to accommodate the needs and abilities of all student-athletes
• Demonstrate and reinforce safe, proper form and technique for all exercises and movements
• Educate student-athletes on the purpose and benefits of exercises, including the muscles being trained, energy systems, proper nutrition, and hydration
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive weight room environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Activities Director
