Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit invites you to join its winter Tax Internship, a paid 10–12 week program. This role is based in the Horizon Territory and offers hands-on tax preparation, accounting support, payroll processing, and record keeping.

You will work with seasoned professionals and contribute to client service while balancing your school schedule. Preferred locations include York, PA and nearby towns, with Mon-Fri hours 8:00–4:30 and mentor feedback.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of agriculture or farm operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax preparation processes and client service.
• Learn our tax data input and preparation workflow.
• Identify and research tax issues with guidance from senior staff.
• Process record information to support financial reporting for clients.
• Engage in projects as assigned and meet with a mentor regularly.
