Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit seeks a Business Services Intern for the summer of 2027. The paid 10-12 week internship is based in Horizon Farm Credit territory with placement determined prior to start.

Location options include PA sites such as York, Lewisburg, Mount Joy or Reedsville. As a summer intern you will explore multiple career paths in Business Services, work with Accounting Officers and Crop Insurance staff, and gain on-the-job experience in tax, payroll and related services, while networking

Qualifications

• Ambitious student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Ag Business, or related field.
• Preferred graduation May 2028 - December 2029.
• GPA 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to a variety of roles in Farm Credit Business Services and collaboration with Accounting Officers and Crop Insurance staff.
• Assist with tax preparation, recordkeeping services, payroll, and related services.
• Engage in meetings and presentations; network with teammates and industry professionals.
• Participate in social events with other interns and contribute to community initiatives.
