Job summary

Mountain-Capital-Partners is seeking a Shuttle Driver for the winter season at Pajarito Mountain, Los Alamos, NM. The role runs from December to April with early morning and afternoon shifts, transporting employees between Pojoaque and the mountain and making stops in Los Alamos.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a 15-passenger van, adherence to schedules, pre/post-trip inspections, and tire-chain installation as conditions require. A DMV check and background screen are required.

Qualifications

• Valid New Mexico driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving passenger vans or similar vehicles preferred; experience with winter and mountain road conditions strongly preferred.
• Ability to install tire chains in winter conditions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning and afternoon schedules.
• Must pass any required background and drug screening per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 15 passenger van on a fixed daily route, picking up employees in Pojoaque and transporting them to Pajarito Mountain and other stops in Los Alamos.
• Adhere to the posted shuttle schedule and communicate delays promptly.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep the van clean and fueled.
• Install and remove tire chains on the van as weather and road conditions require.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies, including safe operation in winter/mountain driving conditions.
• Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with passengers and help create a positive start and end to their workday.
