Job summary

Angel Fire Resort is seeking Shuttle Drivers to transport guests and employees around the resort this winter season. You will operate 14- and 23-passenger shuttles, assisting guests with directions and ensuring safety across the resort.

The role requires excellent customer service, familiarity with the resort, and the ability to perform safely in variable winter weather. Shifts typically run 8am-5pm, with potential night shifts; CDL is preferred but not required to start.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience driving large vehicles in variable weather conditions is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not necessary to start.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to designated locations safely and timely according to shuttle rotation.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers with directions around the resort.
• Follow traffic laws, enforce safety protocols for passengers.
• Operate shuttle safely in extreme winter conditions with high foot traffic.
• Report accidents or incidents to security or managers.
• Be flexible with scheduling and on-call shifts as weather changes.

Job description

Angel Fire Resort is hiring Shuttle Drivers to transport guests and employees around the resort this winter season. This position is responsible for driving the 14 and 23 passenger shuttles to transport guests and employees to and from local destinations including the Ski Area, Country Club, parking lots, wedding sites, and the back side of the mountain. Applicants must have the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times, become familiar with the resort and be able to answer customer questions, complete each aspect of the job with safety as a top priority, maintain a clean shuttle, perform daily shuttle inspections, and be able to work flexible shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in public transportation, will understand roads in different weather conditions, and will be able to remain calm in a demanding environment.

Base Pay: Starts at $18/hr depending on experience

Employee Type: Hourly, non-exempt

Leadership Responsibilities: No

Required Certs or Licenses: DOT Physical required. CDL preferred but not necessary to start, Driver’s License required. Must have a driving record insurable under resort insurance. Must have experience driving large vehicles in variable weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, and ice.

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled

Estimated start date: Early December

Typical Shift: 8am-5pm but night shift schedules may be available as well

Environment: This is an indoor position. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and regularly lift/carry 50lbs.
