Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a Lift Operator for Pajarito Mountain in Los Alamos, NM. This seasonal role supports the safe operation of the ski lift system from December through April 2027, with day shifts and weekend availability on the slopes.

You will assist guests, monitor lift controls, perform safety checks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while delivering excellent guest service in an outdoor alpine setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Able to stand outside for extended periods and shovel snow as needed.
• Ability to learn lift controls and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist skiers and snowboarders in safely loading and unloading ski lifts.
• Monitor and operate lift controls for smooth start/stop.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of lift equipment and report issues promptly.
• Maintain lift ramps and clear snow for smooth traffic flow.
• Ensure workstation complies with OSHA/ANSI/USFS regulations.
