Job summary

Prescription Landscape is seeking a Salt and/or Plow Truck Driver to safely operate assigned plow/salt trucks and support winter maintenance across designated sites in Minnesota. The role follows route plans, applies de-icing materials at authorized rates, and documents service and conditions to protect the public and client property.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• DOT qualification and CDL when required for the assigned truck.
• Experience driving in winter conditions and operating plow/spreader equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow site maps, work tickets, safety information, and verbal directions.
• Dependable attendance and ability to respond within call-in and event-readiness expectations.
• Proficient with mobile devices and company systems for time and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete the assigned plow or salt route according to event priorities, site maps, push and stacking plans, material direction, and service deadlines.
• Operate plows, wings, spreaders, controls, lights, and related truck equipment only after training and authorization.
• Use safe winter-driving, following-distance, backing, turning, intersection, loading, spreading, and parking practices and comply with applicable traffic and vehicle requirements.
• Coordinate with site leaders, loaders, shovel crews, other operators, and dispatch to prevent conflicts and ensure complete service.
• Monitor pavement, precipitation, refreeze, drifting, traffic, access, material supply, and equipment status and report changed or unsafe conditions promptly.
