Job summary

Village Green Landscapes is seeking a seasonal salt truck driver to haul and apply de-icing materials for winter property maintenance. You will operate salt trucks and maintain equipment in line with safety standards, while keeping detailed records and reporting progress using company systems.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record, a DOT card or ability to obtain one, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Haul and apply de-icing materials for winter property maintenance.
• Operate salt trucks for commercial snow management.
• Operate and maintain equipment per safety and preventive maintenance standards.
• Maintain records of job status and report progress.
• Use systems and technology to track and report jobs.
• Collaborate with team and leadership.
• Work autonomously with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
