Job summary

Timberline Lodge in Kentucky’s northern region is seeking a hands-on Parking Attendant to manage daily lot operations, assist guests, and support snow removal when winter arrives. This on-site role requires reliable attendance, strong guest service, clear directions for parking, and courteous etiquette while ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow.

The position starts with the snow season and involves working in all weather conditions, contributing to public relations and the lodge's service

Qualifications

• Must have excellent service oriented personality.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to set and meet high customer service standards.
• Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good traffic flow.
• Give proper and efficient directions to customers parking cars.
• Maintain excellent public relations with guests.
• Assist with equipment for sanding or plowing.
• Assist guests with but not limited to battery jumps, tire chains, and vehicle lockouts.
• Maintain parking lot trash clean up.
• Be familiar with Timberline Lodge and Ski Area information and communication network.
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
