Job summary

Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking a Park Aide for the 2026 winter season at Fields Spring State Park in Asotin County. The position runs November through March with flexible start and end dates.

Responsibilities include assisting visitors, maintaining facilities, and performing grounds and snow-related tasks as needed. This non-permanent role requires physical labor in all weather, weekend availability, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license; out-of-state license requires proof at interview.
• Ability to perform physical labor in all weather and seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide park information to visitors and answer phones.
• Maintain facilities through light maintenance and janitorial tasks.
• Perform grounds maintenance: mow lawns, weed beds, prune shrubs, rake leaves, pick up litter.
• Register campers and manage revenue deposits.
• Snow removal and winter trail maintenance duties at winter parks.
