Responsibilities also include administering medications as needed, transferring livestock, inspecting and repairing equipment, and ensuring corrals are clean.

Qualifications

• One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Random drug test may be required after hire at no cost to worker.
• Positive test or non-compliance may lead to termination.

Responsabilités

• Provide winter care to cows: break ice, move snow, warm calves.
• Drive trucks, tractors and equipment to distribute feed and forage.
• Maintain records on animals.
• Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate.
• Transfer livestock between locations.
• Inspect, maintain, repair equipment and weld as needed.
• Monitor cows and calves for hypothermia and provide colostrum as needed.
• Clean corrals.
• Move manure in cold temperatures.
• Speak and understand English.
