Job summary

Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville, PA, seeks a seasonal Guest Services Associate for the Winter Lights Spectacular, a 40-evening event from November through January. The role centers on guest interaction at POS, delivering quality service and assisting guests with questions about tickets and merchandise.

Responsibilities include training for all GSE positions, following the GSE Handbook, and maintaining a positive guest experience while supporting security and operations with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 16 years of age or older; minors must comply with PA Child Labor Act and have a valid work permit.
• Willing to work hours needed (weekends, holidays and evenings).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive experience for all LVZ guests.
• Train for all GSE positions and learn all roles and expectations.
• Review GSE Handbook and Training Manual to familiarize with Zoo policies and codes.
• Understand sign-in/sign-out radios and proper usage for communications and emergencies.
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled event start time.
• Remain at your position unless granted permission to leave by a GSE Lead or SDO.
• Contribute to daily LVZ cleanup after shift or closing time as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Zoo management.
