Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Lifeguards for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 at our mountain locations. You will monitor pools and surrounding areas, respond to emergencies, and ensure guest safety while delivering excellent service.

Required certifications include Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, AED/Oxygen, and Water Safety Instructor where applicable; fluency in English is mandatory. Housing may be available, with varied shifts and strong advancement through Epic Service

Qualifications

• Certified lifeguard with current CPR and first aid credentials.
• Certification in AED and oxygen administration.
• Water safety instruction experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest safety by monitoring water areas and responding to emergencies.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness and facility safety as per standards.
• Enforce rules and assist guests with tickets and access.
• Display knowledge of pool facilities and dimensions to guests.
• Interact with guests while upholding customer service policies.
