Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of athletic policies and rules.
• Understanding of state/league regulations and staff interpretation.
• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Technical knowledge of the sport with ongoing study of new methods.
• Ability to model desired behavior for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Establish overall program philosophy and teaching methods.
• Design staff meetings, clinics and conferences for program awareness.
• Supervise staff development and evaluate assistants.
• Maintain discipline and foster team morale and cooperation.
• Perform duties assigned by athletic director/principal.
• Assist with scheduling, transportation and tournament logistics.
