Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Winter Area Manager to lead field crews and service partners during active winter weather in Massachusetts. You will ensure safe, efficient operations, coordinate work scopes, and participate in pre-season training.

Ideal candidates bring experience with field crews, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of heavy equipment or snow removal. Strong communication and follow-through are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Completion of JC Grounds Area Manager Training Program.
• MA Hoisting License 2A or the ability to acquire if needed.
• Experience working with field crews and service partners in dynamic job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation or snow removal experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and be available for all winter events
• Safely and efficiently operate your vehicle
• Coordinate the successful completion of the Scope of Work according to the Level of Service
• Participate in pre-season crew training events
• Complete all required training
• Attend pre-storm and post-storm meetings
• Communicate with operators, subcontractors, and staff regarding storm expectations and dispatch accordingly
• Effectively manage operators and service partners throughout your portfolio
• Maintain the SET list and document all site visits and services in SiteFotos
• Work in conjunction with all on-site operators, shovel crews, site supervisors, and other Area Managers
• Complete all post-storm paperwork (on-site inspections, equipment inspections, and consumables inventory) and submit directly to the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.
• Report damages to property, equipment, or injuries immediately to the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager
