Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. seeks a Seasonal Winter Area Manager in Massachusetts to lead field crews and service partners during winter events. You will ensure safe, efficient operations and coordinate storm response with operators and staff.

The role requires strong communication and follow-through, with experience in heavy equipment or snow removal recommended. You will report to the Branch Manager and participate in pre-storm planning and training.

Qualifications

• Completion of JC Grounds Area Manager Training Program.
• Working smartphone and valid driver's license.
• MA Hoisting License 2A or ability to acquire.
• Experience with field crews and service partners.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation or snow removal is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and be available for all winter events.
• Safely and efficiently operate your vehicle.
• Coordinate the completion of the Scope of Work per the Level of Service.
• Participate in pre-season crew training events.
• Complete all required training.
• Attend pre-storm and post-storm meetings.
• Communicate with operators, subcontractors, and staff about storm expectations and dispatch.
• Manage operators and service partners throughout your portfolio.
• Maintain the SET list and document all site visits in SiteFotos.
• Work with on-site operators, shovel crews, site supervisors, and other Area Managers.
• Complete post-storm paperwork and submit to Branch Manager.

Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, field crew management, and previous snow removal experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and be available for all winter events
• Safely and efficiently operate your vehicle
• Coordinate the successful completion of the Scope of Work according to the Level of Service
• Participate in pre-season crew training events
• Complete all required training
• Attend pre-storm and post-storm meetings
• Communicate with operators, subcontractors, and staff regarding storm expectations and dispatch accordingly
• Effectively manage operators and service partners throughout your portfolio
• Maintain the SET list and document all site visits and services in SiteFotos
• Work in conjunction with all on-site operators, shovel crews, site supervisors, and other Area Managers
• Complete all post-storm paperwork (on-site inspections, equipment inspections, and consumables inventory) and submit directly to the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.
• Report damages to property, equipment, or injuries immediately to the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager
