Job summary

U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a part-time Equipment Operations Coordinator for the Park City area during the winter season. You will help manage gear and apparel, coordinate inventory, and assist with travel logistics to ensure athletes and staff have the equipment they need on time.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and effective communication with athletes and staff. Prior experience in inventory or operations and familiarity with Teamworks are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, retail, or operations support (required).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently (required).
• Ability to lift and move equipment and boxes consistent with the essential functions listed above (required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook (required).
• Experience with inventory management systems such as Teamworks (preferred).
• Experience in a sports, athletics, or outdoor/winter sports environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Athlete Experience: Support timely, accurate distribution of gear ahead of training camps, competitions, and international travel.
• Respond promptly to athlete and staff requests related to equipment issues, replacements, or sizing.
• Operational Excellence: Receive, organize, and move incoming equipment and apparel shipments, including staging inventory in storage and distribution areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Teamworks, including intake, distribution, returns, and reconciliation of gear and apparel by sport and size.
• Financial Performance: Support accurate inventory tracking to minimize loss, shrinkage, and unnecessary reordering costs.
• Assist in reconciling inventory counts against purchase orders and sponsor product shipments.
• Help ensure equipment and apparel spending stays aligned with department budget through diligent tracking and reporting.
