Qualifications

New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder.
Coaching experience preferred, but not required
Must be available daily during the WINTER sports season
Must be CPR and AED certified, with current certificates
Must obtain annual certificates for Concussion Awareness and Heat Acclimatization Awareness
All new coaches have one year to complete Sports First Aid training
Alternatives to qualifications may be acceptable per Superintendent

Responsibilities

Coach winter season sports for Paterson Public Schools at 051 East Side High School.
Ensure safety protocols and CPR/AED readiness during activities.
Coordinate practices and game schedules with school administration.
Meet all certification and training requirements as mandated by the district.
