Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies is offering a Winter Audit Internship in Cranford, NJ for 2027. The part-time, paid program runs from early January through mid-April with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Interns will work alongside industry specialists on actual audit engagements, developing client relationships and gaining hands-on experience in accounting functions, financial statement drafting, and audit-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 75% of a bachelor’s degree in accounting completed.
• Progress toward CPA exam eligibility required.
• Strong communication and computer skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time; own transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Assist clients with routine accounting functions and prepare portions of compilations, reviews and audits.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formatting.
• Gain knowledge of accounting pronouncements and basic income tax concepts.
• Adapt to firm policies and work as part of a professional team.
