Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies in Cranford, NJ is seeking a Winter Tax Intern: Scanner for the 2027 season. The role focuses on tax scanning and assisting with tax return preparation as part of the winter internship program.

This part-time, paid internship runs mid-February to mid-April and offers exposure to client engagements within our tax group; candidates should be pursuing an accounting degree and demonstrate strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting completed.
• Good communication and computer skills; team player in a fast-paced env.
• Interns must be customer-focused and able to multitask.
• Frequent local travel to PKFOD locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Become familiar with and adhere to the Firm's policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic technical tax requirements.
• Become proficient in scanning and preparing tax returns.
• Develop a working knowledge of all microcomputer applications.
