Job summary

PKF O'Connor Davies offers a Winter Audit Internship Program that immerses students with our industry group specialists by assisting with quality audit services for client engagements. Qualifications

• Must have at least 75% of a bachelor's degree in accounting completed.
• Must demonstrate progress towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Good communication and computer skills; should be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Interns must be customer-focused and able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Must commit a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Must be willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time and have access to a car/public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
• Adhere to Firm policies and procedures as a team member.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formatting.
• Prepare portions of compilation, review and audit engagements.
• Develop knowledge of accounting pronouncements and basic income tax understanding.
