Bartlett Tree Experts is offering a Winter Arboriculture Internship in the Pittsburgh area. The Arboriculture Intern will work with a team of experienced arborists, gaining hands-on field experience in scientific tree and shrub care on commercial and residential properties.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program (Arboriculture, Forestry, etc.)
• Interest in outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on field experience in scientific tree and shrub care.
• Assist with pruning, rigging, cabling and bracing, removals.
• Learn integrated pest management fundamentals.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment and tools.
• Support safety and training meetings and teamwork.
