Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is offering a Summer Internship for aspiring arborists. As an Arboriculture Intern, you will work with a dedicated team to gain practical field experience in tree and shrub care on residential and commercial properties.

These 8-12 week internships provide hands-on training, exposure to pruning, rigging, pest management, soil sampling, and client relations, with start dates typically in May and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Passion for nature, environment, and outdoors.
• Pursuing a degree in arboriculture, forestry, or related field.
• Interest in outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Learn and safely perform various arboriculture tasks including pruning, rigging, cabling and bracing.
• Gain understanding of integrated pest management, inspections, disease identification, soil sampling, and record-keeping.
• Participate in safety and training meetings and build professional relationships.
