Job summary

Canadian Base Operators is seeking a dependable, hands-on worker for a full-time seasonal role to maintain airside spaces, run snow removal tasks, and support contractors in winter operations. You will operate a range of equipment, perform snow and ice removal on runways and sidewalks, and help keep fences, gates, and storage areas organized while adhering to safety protocols.

This is a winter-season position with opportunities to gain field experience in a dynamic outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical outdoor labour experience preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment, machinery and hand tools.
• Maintain spaces across airside areas, remote sites, and buildings.
• Support contractors with equipment operation as needed.
• Roll and dye mark helicopter landing/training sites.
• Maintain and repair fences and gates.
• Assist with runway condition reporting and SNIC activities.
• Perform snow and ice removal on runways, sidewalks and parking areas.
• Keep workspaces, equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with other teams and departments.
• Complete timesheets and work orders accurately and on time.
