Job summary

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general‑purpose humanoid robots. We are seeking a Validation Engineering Intern for Winter 2027 to support design, automation, and execution of system‑level validation across our humanoid platform.

This internship targets final‑year undergraduates or recent graduates who expect to complete their degree by end‑2026 or the following year. Responsibilities include architecting hardware and software solutions for validating subsystems, writing

Qualifications

Graduate student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 12-week internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred.
Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.
Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Architect hardware and software solutions for validating humanoid subsystems (actuators, batteries, cameras, sensors).
Write Python scripts to automate validation and regression testing.
Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline for hardware/firmware/software integration.
Debug and resolve software regressions and hardware issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
