Grand Valley State University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to provide clinical instruction and supervise undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings, skills labs, or simulations.

The role focuses on integrating KCON philosophy into teaching, delivering high-quality supervision, evaluation, and support for diverse student populations. A BSN and Michigan RN license are required, with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

The Adjunct Instructor provides clinical instruction and supervises undergraduate clinical experiences in a specific area of expertise (such as medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatric, or community health nursing), a skills lab or a simulation environment.Primary Duties:Clinical teaching, supervision, and evaluation of students in a clinical setting, skills lab, or in simulation.Integrating KCON philosophy and organizing framework into clinical teaching.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.An unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (or be eligible for licensure in Michigan as a Registered Nurse.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Commitment to working with diverse student and community populations.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Master’s degree (or higher) in Nursing.
