Job summary

GALLO, a family-owned leader with a 90+ year legacy, seeks a hands-on mechanic to maintain and repair winery equipment, ensuring safe, reliable production. You’ll troubleshoot, replace parts, reassemble, and test equipment while documenting work in CMMS.

You’ll perform basic plumbing, piping, machining, and welding tasks, interpret technical docs, and support continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. On-site, some travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2 years maintenance experience.
• Associates degree in Mechanical or Automotive Maintenance with 1 year experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair winery equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.
• Perform preventive maintenance on wine processing, packaging, and filtration equipment and document repairs in CMMS.
• Interpret technical documents and read electrical schematics; maintain shop tools and facilities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high safety and quality standards.
