Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at start.
• Enrolled in or recent graduate of an undergraduate program in Viticulture and Enology.
• College student or recent graduate, junior level or above.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Commitment to at least six months of full-time work.
• Strong Microsoft Office and internet aptitude; good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow different roles within the facility to gain knowledge and understand practices, processes while developing leadership skills.
• Analytical Lab: identify wine specs for varietals and pull tank samples for learning.
• Crush: supervise grape processing, ensure sanitation, manage grape trucks, assist with tank assignments and timing of additions.
• Daily fermenter tasting, tank walks twice daily, and participate in production scale winemaking trials.
• Write work orders and assist with closing completed orders under supervision.
