Job summary

The Wine Group is seeking an Internship in Winemaking at multiple California locations, including Fresno. The intern will shadow various roles from cellar to analytical lab, participate in sanitation, and assist during crush to learn timing, tank management, and winemaking decisions.

Responsibilities include daily fermenter tastings, tank walks, and documenting trials, with a focus on leadership development and understanding sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a college student or recent graduate pursuing Viticulture and Enology.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Commit to at least six months of full-time work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Shadow different roles to learn practices and processes in the facility.
• Participate in sanitation prior to the season to learn basics of the process.
• Supervise grape processing during crush and coordinate tank movements.
• Assist in daily fermenter tasting and tank walks.
• Document production scale winemaking trials and report status.
