Job summary

PRP Wine International, Inc. in Madison is seeking a Wine Consultant to visit client homes, host wine tastings, and drive sales through engaging events. You will build a client base in Wisconsin, share product knowledge, and tailor recommendations to guests during gatherings.

You will participate in commission-based compensation with a car allowance, with training provided to develop product expertise and sales skills. This role emphasizes relationship-building and customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to manage and build relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding client acquisition goals.
• Strong communication and selling skills.
• Willingness to learn wine products and educate customers.
• Wine knowledge is a bonus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop a client base by finding new clients in your area and throughout Wisconsin.
• Provide in-home tasting experiences and sell wine to groups from 2 to 20+ guests.
• Present and promote PRP wines at client events and tastings.
• Expand wine knowledge to better match wines to customers' palates.
• Process orders accurately, collect billing information, and ensure correct delivery instructions.
• Maintain monthly sales targets after training and probation.
