Job summary

Ridge Vineyards in Paso Robles seeks a Retail Sales & Hospitality Associate to deliver elevated guest service in our tasting room. You will sell wines, memberships, and non-wine items, while guiding guests through Ridge’s story and products.

Weekend, holiday, and weekday availability is required to support busy periods. The role emphasizes hospitality, precise transaction processing, and personable education.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a wine service environment preferred.
• Prior experience in luxury hospitality with emphasis on guest service preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and farewell guests by name to create a memorable experience.
• Educate guests on Ridge Vineyards history and wines, including appellation details.
• Anticipate guests' needs in sales, service and concierge areas.
• Build relationships to encourage repeat visits and future sales.
• Host engaging tastings and promote wine club memberships.
• Operate POS/CRM systems (Commerce7, Salesforce) and process orders accurately.
• Set up and break down tasting rooms and private areas; stock products.
• Maintain tasting room appearance and inventory; assist with shipments.
